Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Drinking a Potion of Night Vision should push back fog in the Nether

Right now, it's pretty hard to see in the nether, only a handful of chunks are visible and the rest are covered in fog. Also a Potion of Night Vision is pretty useless since it's not that hard to see at night. I propose we kill two birds with one stone, and make the Night Vision Potion push back fog. Thoughts?
