No waterlogged signs

I know mojang is trying to make water a complete fluid, such as waterlogged flowers and leaves. But NO WATERLOGGED SIGNS. I REPEAT: NO WATERLOGGED SIGNS. Not listening to that will result in ruined farms and elevators that reguire water to stop flowing but other stuff to go through.

    Just place the signs first and don't place the water bucket directly on the signs.

    The signs still stop the water just as long as you don’t place the signs in the water or the water in the signs

    thats stupid, blocks only waterlog in water SOURCE blocks not in flowing water

    Waterlogged signs would be fine, since it only waterlogs them if you place them directly inside a source block. It would still stop flowing water just fine.

    Alternatively just make it so you have to manually place water in it to waterlog it.
