    I personally prefer how Bedrock does it. If you ask me they should have an option to toggle it so players can decide which works better for them.

    No I like it better so u can just double tap the jump button to end

    The reason why you "walk" for a few steps after landing is a bug caused due to a poor implementation of the console's flying system. Before v1.2 flying behaved closer to how it does on Java, including flight being canceled by landing. So when you land in the current version of bedrock the game still behaves as it did pre-1.2 for a few seconds before flight is properly resumed. Not only this but flying drift is also still present and very noticeable when quickly changing direction/navigating with your mouse. It's only when you fully stop pressing keys that your character is forced to come to a stop
