Nether Fog

Dial back the nether fog to make the nether more visible. This could be achieved by making an enchantment for your helmet that makes it easier to see. ( Don't have a name for enchantment yet) you could find it at ruined portals and rarely find it in a nether fortress

    Just make it a game option.  Make nether fog attached to render distance or simulation distance.

    I wish looking through a spyglass would let you see through the fog. I honestly have a terrible time finding fortresses after the update. Biomes are awesome but I wish I could I could actually see them instead of a murky fog in the entire dimension. Or having treasure maps in ruined portal chests to reveal the location of nether fortresses would also be a huge improvement.
