Make striders run away from rain

For quite some time, I've been planning out a cool survival map for me to play with friends, and one of my ideas is to make a lava pond with striders, with a cave on the back for shelter. But, as of now this has a critical flaw: When raining, striders don't try to find shelter or run away from it, practically ruining my ideas and probably some other people's. Also, it would make a lot of sense for them to run away from rain, so it would be an interesting addition.

I hope you consider my suggestion!

    While I do like this idea, it wouldn't really work as striders have never really been to the overworld, so they wouldn't know what rain is.

    I think this is a great idea and hope it's added. It would make sense.
