Alternative Lingering Potion Ingredient/Drop Location

Dragon's Breath in a multiplayer server is way too expensive. I have never considered even trying to get it because navigating the whole way to the fortress (often 10000+ blocks), collecting as much as I can, killing the dragon, and returning home just to get some finite resources is in no way worth it for some tipped arrows, as cool as they are. It would be nice if you could make lingering potions from something else or make Dragon's Breath easier to obtain.

I was thinking it could drop from witches, or be found in witch huts. Witches don't spawn super often and it would make sense thematically since they throw potions at you. It could also potentially be found in dungeons, temples, fortresses, etc.

It's nice that you're guaranteed to find dragon's breath when you fight the dragon, it's just not fun to walk there again and again for something you can only use once for a potion or arrow you can only fire once.

Having tipped arrows and more potion variety would increase combat variety as well, which would be great.

    You say this is a problem on a multiplayer server, yet this seems as it would be the place where it is least problematic. You could buy dragon’s breath from other players, or go get it with another player.

    If you’re on single player, this is also not an issue. By the time you have reached endgame, which is when lingering potions should become available, you should have elytra, making travel very easy.

    Getting dragons breath from witches would be incredibly OP as witches spawn often, and multiple witches spawn in raids.

    Actually, in Bedrock Edition, you can tip arrows by pouring a potion into a cauldron and clicking on the cauldron with arrows. I suggest you make a parity request for that feature.
