Wasn't sure if I should mark this as structures or mobs. Anyway, the concept is - as the title implies - a hanging village. Hanging how? I imagine that this is a village that is built upside down. Perhaps hanging from the ceiling of the Nether or hanging from an End Island. Despite my use if the word "Village" these locations would not be inhabited by the Overworld villager. The name for these entities is up in the air, so let's call them Inverse. Inverse are notable for being affected by gravity inversely compared to other mobs. Rather than falling down, they rise up when they have no block above them. Unlike Overworld villagers, the Inverse deal in more unconventional trades. Perhaps they have some uncommon, rare, or arcane wares compared to other traders. Perhaps this could even include a potion of anti-gravity/potion of inverse or a potion of levitation, both to add a unique and interesting potion effect in game and an easier way to walk around the village. As for currency, they could use emeralds but I feel something unique to them would be more fitting seeing how Piglins took their own system of currency.
