Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Diamond block + netherite ingot in smithing table gets block of Netherite

This would probably be game breaking, but I think a diamond block plus a netherite ingot in a smithing table would get a block of netherite.

    As long as the Netherite block can't be reduced to ingots, otherwise it would make Netherite armor and tools way easier to make.

    I think that to make this not game breaking, the crafting recipe could be reduced to 4 ingots in a 2x2 crafting grid. The 9 diamonds would stay the same, and if you combine a diamond block with a netherite, and break up the block, you now have 4 netherite ingots instead of an overwhelming 9.
