Woodland mansions are often criticized for their lack of compelling loot. To combat this, I suggest the implementation of mansion-exclusive paintings as a trophy item, similar to the Dragon Egg. Such paintings could only be found in the woodland mansion, and exhibit special properties. Similarly to how horror movies and media often portray portraits and paintings in spooky old houses, woodland mansion paintings would provide extra spookiness.
Let me provide a few examples; a woodland painting of an illager would have its eyes follow you, similarly to how the guardian's eye will track your movement. During thunderstorms, paintings have a chance to change into slightly altered versions of themselves; nothing too scary, but a boat painting would sail from the ocean and dock at land, for example, or a painting of a creeper could switch to red eyes.
In conjunction with woodland paintings, I feel that paintings should be updated in general. Currently, it is extremely tedious and frustrating to place the painting that you want in the place you want - a GUI selection screen should appear to make painting placement easier.
