Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New sugar cane textures

The sugar cane texture is too outdated and doesn't mix well with the new textures of minecraft, after the texture overhaul. Mojang could give a new texture for the sugar cane.

An idea i have for it is to have some sharp leaves on the two top blocks of the plant, like a bamboo, but with more leaves and a darker stem.

And i leave an idea completely optional of even swapping the model of two plains crossed, like the grass for the model of the other crops, to mach even more the idea of  a crop.

    I agree with you very much, the texture of the sugar canes is obsolete and would need to be revised.

    Furthermore, the icon of the reeds themselves is horrible and very old, it would take something to make them clearer to identify.
