A lamp or similar block that when placed changes the biome within a set radius. The specific effect will change the color of grass, weather patterns, and what plants will grow there and what animals will spawn there. The lamp should be usable underground and underwater as well. The effect underground should be to make the affected area become as though it were above ground so that grass, trees and animals spawn naturally. (Grass will still only grow on dirt blocks). Underwater should remain as underwater, but change the coral, seagrass, kelp and fish type depending on which lamp is used. Each of the main biomes should have its own biome lamp available in the creative inventory. This only applies to the main categories such as lush, dry, snowy, swamp and not all 60 plus biomes. The lamp shouldn't change the actual landscape, only the behavior of blocks within the AOE. Biome lamps must be placed outside the radius of each other, or the affected area will become smaller. A possible feature could be similar to the beacon, in which adding a certain block could increase the effect. Instead of attaching a block of diamond or gold to the lamp though, the block should be consumable so as not to change the appearance of the lamp or the surroundings, more like the way bone meal can be used to make plants grow. Biome lamps should only be placable in creative mode. It should either not exist in survival mode or the player should be unable to mine, craft, or place it.
