This could be a "non-newtonian" block with interesting applications.

Crafting:

• 4x Sand
• 5x Slime
• TNT crafting pattern

Reversed Resistence:

Real non-newtonian materials can become hardened under stress. Accordingly, this special block would take longer to mine depending on the power of your shovel, with an eff. V netherite shovel taking not much longer to plow through than your fist.

This could be used for supporting redstone wires or around dig areas, where being careless with your shovel could end up with unwanted destruction. It could also bring up uses for lower tier tools in the late-game. It perhaps could even deflect projectiles, that would be cool!

Selective Slowness

Since running releases energy, sprinting on this block would be just fine, but if you were to slow down you'd sink like in soulsand. Struggling too much to get out could make the situation worse, as the material around your feet tenses up in response.

Could be used in a trap, to help catch a speeding iceway boat, or any other application where you need to very quickly hault something that is losing momentum.
