Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Blackstone/Basalt change

Blackstone serves as the nether equivalent of cobblestone(tools, bricks, etc.) while basalt serves only decoration purposes. So with the Nether Update's addition of a basalt generator as well as the upcoming bartering for blackstone, my suggestion is to swap the two block's method of renewablitiy. Make the functional block the one provided by a generator and the decorative one the commodity.

 

TL;DR: make the basalt generator the blackstone generator and make the blackstone barter the basalt barter
