With all the newer accessories that can be earned by completing achievements, some of the accessories could also have a purpose other than cosmetics. For example, the glub glub glub headwear should give the player conduit power or at least water breathing so they can survive in water, and the tool belt pants should add more inventory slots, as long as they are equipped on the character. This could provide a huge benefit for people wanting to use these items, because it gives more of a reason to choose certain cosmetics. Another way this could work is that they would be able to give the player other buffs like a strength boost, or speed boost or whatever, which is an advantage in certain situations.
