Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

More use for smithing table from diamond

I think that diamond should be the only gear to be used in smithing table. Bit by introducing new ores you can upgrade it to other armor for specific needs. Netherite was so your stuff could survive in lava. Make new ores that provide new bonuses to armor maybe have an ore that doesn’t destroy the armor or tools in the void and floats back up but that may be too OP I think this is good because now there would be variety in what you wear. Now everyone just uses netherite and no point to use the others. Netherite won’t be replaced but all players will have a preferred armor

    I imagine they will add more over time as side-grades to Netherite. I imagine there will be some new ore from the end dimension after it gets another rework for upgrading diamond gear into a new set of gear. And then if we get a Skylands or Aether like dimension, I imagine we will get a new material for making another set of Netherite side-grade endgame gear there too. Maybe even a new endgame ore from some very deep, very dangerous cave levels from the cave update, though I think that one might be less likely. They will probably want to keep diamond as the best ore from the Overworld.
