Chorus checkpoint block (survival, commandless teleportation system)

This block is a return/save point used to backtrack quickly: each time you eat a chorus fruit near enough (say 64 blocks max), you’re teleported on it. It could be very useful for exploration and especially in large dungeons, in fact, I got this idea while writing a post about a new End structure.

It would be purple with (when active, animated and glowing) concentric circles or squares to make it clear it’s some kind of spawn point.

It should be blast resistant.

If there are several of it near the player when they eat a chorus fruit, they should be teleported to the closest if one is really closer than the others, or randomly if they are at equivalent distances.

It should work only when powered by redstone (or active by default but can be disabled with redstone). This would allow interesting dungeon designs, for example activate a checkpoint only when you reach it, but also to move quickly in any kind of building or place.

  I’m making this comment to present another idea that you can vote for separately: the chorus teleporter block. This block would behave exactly like a chorus fruit when you step on it while active. So you teleport randomly, except if there is a chorus return point block near! It’s rather useless without so I won’t create a new post for it, it belongs to this one. With both blocks this "emitter" and the "receiver" of the main post, it would be possible to create a teleportation system in survival mode without command blocks (and without constantly eating chorus fruits).
