Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

take a cauldron and then put water inside and then the same dyes that you would use on java press the cauldron with each dye and then bam!

Read the description. Whichever dye you put in last would overpower the others.

You should still be able to use the cauldron method, but also be able to use the crafting method like in Java and Legacy Console.

Legacy Console is the only edition where you can both use the cauldron method and the crafting method to dye leather armor. Both methods should be added to both Java and Bedrock. https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360047833872--Bedrock-Parity-Dyable-Cauldrons-More

With the new wolf armor I realized that dye options on Bedrock are limited compared to java. While the cauldron method may seem easier and more immersive it also restricts player creativity. Opening both dye avenues would be the solution that provides the most options for players to "shape their world".
