Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Baking and cooking

You should add a baking table. This is made with a smoker, crafting table, and chest. This is used to make soups, cakes, cookies, and other new recipes that would be added, such as spiced chicken, fruit salad, and other meals. This would be a good food source and interesting new thing to do.

    This is necessary. You don't normally mix cake ingredients to get a full, baked cake. same for pie and cookies.
