The spindle.....

...... can be crafted with a stick and a wood plank, easy to get, but not useless. If string can be crafted into wool why not wool into string! If you destroy or click a wool block with a spindle, it would drop 8 string. Also, the string would be dyed the color of the wool block it came from, and can be used as extra decoration in your builds. Maybe if you made a lead, bow, cross bow, or any other item with string of a different color, the string part of that item would be a different color than white.

Note: you can craft wool into string on a crafting table, but using a spindle gets you twice as much and different colors!

    When you craft wool, it uses 4 string.

    When you put wool back into a spindle, you get 8 back.

    Do you see the problem here?
