Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

If the dragon egg is destroyed, it respawns in the End

Recently, I respawned the Ender Dragon.  I was under the impression that the dragon egg was necessary to do this, and would be consumed by the respawning of the Ender Dragon, and then once you beat the dragon again, you would get another egg, so I left it on the bedrock pillar.  However, upon the dragon's respawning, the egg was destroyed.  I'm torn up now, because I really wanted the dragon egg to display as a trophy, but as you get only one, I now can't have that.  I think that whenever the dragon egg is destroyed - dropped in lava, the void, destroyed by explosions, etc., it should immediately respawn back in the end, atop the bedrock pillar of the center portal.

    I lost my dragon egg too so something like this would be nice. There should definitely be a way to get back a lost dragon egg, whether by it respawning or getting another one somehow.

    I think if the egg is destroyed there should also be a message in the chat saying that it returned to the end

    It should only respawn if the Dragon is killed. If the Dragon is respawned, the egg should not reappear until the Dragon has been killed again

    Yeah my dragon egg was also destroyed upon respawning, and I now am confused. Are you only able to beat the dragon 3 times?

    Same thing happened to me. This would be very nice.

    Especially if it said a message in chat telling you about it.

    I dropped the dragon egg in lava by accident in my survival world. I don't think you can get it back, but it doesn't really matter in a world, just as a trophy to display.

    I think it should give you a dragon egg when you beat the dragon. Also when the egg is destroyed, it should say something like "The Dragon Egg has been destroyed."

    For extra safety precautions, the egg should also be immune to fire and explosions.

    Please, I need this so bad... Mine dissapeared after being teleported to the world origin and not having a solid block for it to get placed.

    This EXACT thing happen to me! I really do with this was a thing as I can’t display it in my base now. Maybe having it as a world option to do so or a button near the duplicate and delete option to reset the egg would be a great way to do this.
