An Upgrade to The Beacon

The beacon is one of the most powerful item in the game and one of the rarest of all, it requires you to beat the Wither to get a Nether Star, the main ingredient for the beacon. From what I've been seeing, the beacon is often use by the minecrafter to get the effect Haste II which gave them the ability to insta-mine. Though it might have been powerful enough, I suggest that Mojang add an item which its sole purpose is to upgrade the beacon. I also suggest that it can only be found in the "End City Ship" with a 1% chance of having the item. This is to make the beacon a more useful item other than just being use as an insta-mine tool. The"item" will upgrade the beacon giving it more abilities to choose from. It can range to "having the ability to have instant healing every 3 second " to "preventing a specific mob to spawn". The drawback is that you cannot choose a different ability after choosing what you chose. You also have to give a nether star every 32 minecraft days to prevent it from being way too overpowered.
