    I agree! This also gives a good reason for villagers to have beds, not just some requirement. I also accidentally hit villagers, but in Bedrock it's much less stressful as villagers heal upon waking up. I hope this gets added to Java.

    This is such an obvious feature to have; Bedrock added convenient villager healing (through both beds and bread) with Village & Pillage in 2019, and it's silly that Java doesn't have it yet.

    Currently, there is no way to heal a max-level villager other than splash potions, and there is no way to tell in the first place that they are at low health.  On my personal server, my friend's villager died of repeated 4-block falls.  There is no good-game-design reason for these things, and the obvious intuitive solution is right there in Bedrock ready to be ported over.

    Agreed and as another commenter mentioned, it seems villagers are reportedly able to heal with bread as well on Bedrock edition. Both the bed and bread healing seems like it would be a really nice addition.
