Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Snow and Ice Block Variants

Snow, ice, packed ice, and blue ice blocks should get more variants like stone brick, sandstone, and quarts does.

For example:

  • Smooth snow blocks could be a flat texture or have a pillar snow block variant like quarts.
  • Chiseled snow blocks could have a snow flake texture.
  • Snow block bricks could have the same texture as quarts bricks.
  • The same can be done for all the ice blocks.
  • Stairs and walls for all these blocks would be a lovely addition too.

I like living and building in snow related biomes and I wish there were more snow and ice block variants to build with. Hopefully this post gets some love.

    I feel like you would need a block like, Snowed Ice, where you can then use a stone cutter to get the other varients.
