    Hmmmm, I cordially disagree. The armor in Java will provide significant reduction, but balance out with toughness; getting weaker the more toughness (effect resist) you have. In Bedrock armor caps at 80% damage mitigation regardless. And that’s before you have enchants. Now armor has no effect on starving, drowning, suffocating, burning, void, magic & then some. These are all preparedness & common sense checks; like digging down. It would be interesting to see bedrock conform to Java; toughness randomly (or a method to a madness) to different armor drops dropped in different manners.

    If they do this, they should also allow an increase for the max value of the generic.armor attribute.

    DisownedMoth0 I stand corrected. =)
      Let me ask you this, being Adventure mode with Apocalypse after, both modes are to scale up the difficulty. If Armor was adjusted so your ventures were not as risky, say like your first playthrough to unlock the modes, would it be a challenge?
