Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Metal String/Wire

This wire can be crafted with 3 iron ingots in a row. It can be used as a tripwire that can't be activated by items but is slightly more noticable than regular string. Its also slightly harder to break and can't be broken without activating it. Wire can be crafted into a block to be stored and possibly used to upgrade string items.
