I like the idea of a diamond tipped cutter; they are fun to use!!!

But the stone cutter is very relevant! You use way less materials to get your items versus the crafting table.

The idea of expanding to cut glass is great though! And a wet tile saw with a diamond blade can indeed cut glass, but it is a delicate process and might be too advanced an item for the game. I am leaning for glass panes to remain at the crafting table for this reason: When you create a faux or panel out of stone, it consist of small rubble mortared together. When you create planks of wood from a log you run it through a Planar. With stone (or glass) to get the same effect you would use a Planar Stone.

The diamond tip cutter could do precise glass cuts (stairs, slabs, walls - expanding options for other material like netherrack) but given the brittleness of the glass anything more thinly planed is not cutting it (pun intended!)

I love this idea! But also add decorative glass full blocks, similar to deep slate tiles , polished granite, or stone bricks. I’d love to see glass bricks. This might also be a way to add glass doors and glass trap doors, or maybe glass walls and glass fences and glass gates. …In all the stained colors of course.
