Environmental Tweaks:
In the levels, if you happen to come into contact with water, you will be slowed 30%.
A hailstorm setting: every 30 seconds, a hailstorm occurs. You would need to be under something to not be affected. You can tell what is safe by the shadowed spots. With the hailstorm setting on, you would get much more loot. Damage is 300 per difficulty (default, adventure, and apocalypse)
Enchanted Mobs:
Mobs with the chilling effect would be much more common. Wraiths’ fire would slow, instead of not affecting your speed.
Gear:
Armor:
Yeti Fur: Unique, obtained from defeating bosses, gives invulnerability to slowing effects, -50% knockback reduction
Ice Plated Armor: common, chances of being obtained from enemies, most likely found in pig chests, -40% knockback reduction
Melee Weapons:
Fangs of Frost: Yes, these currently exist, but the spawn rate of these would be a little higher in the dlc
Petrified Blade: Rare, fast attack rate, medium attack damage, medium area of effect
Ranged Weapons
Icicle Crossbow: Rare, medium-high damage, medium low speed. Slows enemies on hit
Snowball Launcher: Unique, high damage, low speed, slows mobs, has a large AOE where the projectile lands (which is about 3 blocks)
Artifacts:
Silent Snowflakes: Rare, pretty common, works like a quiver, only you throw them with your hand instead of shooting with a bow. Does 10 damage per power level. Also slightly slows enemies. Gives you 30 and throws at 10/sec. Cooldown 10sec.
