    I think that this aspect of the game is perfect the way it is; Minecraft is a sandbox game, and is meant to allow for a lot of creativity and freedom in how you play it. So if you want to go after the dragon immediately, you can! It's your world, and you have the freedom to play it how you like. But if you prefer to save it until later, you have the freedom to give yourself those boundaries too!

    I think it is a good idea because you can’t just defeat the dragon with no henchman bosses

    It should be up to the players. If they want to then maybe there could be a function to make that true, or just decide that for themselves
