Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Cheaper Lodestones

Lodestones are great, and very useful, but they cost a netherite ingot to craft each one and you could just use maps or coordinates. I think they should be cheaper, maybe cost an iron block instead of a netherite ingot? That could be too cheap (specially with iron farms), so maybe just a netherite scrap. Either way, in my opinion they are far too expensive for the limited uses they have.

    If they are so expensive, then nobody will ever use them. So if the point of the netherite ingot is that it is one of the heavyest items in the game, then perhaps the gold block would be a better alternative. They are actually a little heavier than a netherite ingot, if you go with the piglin theory, and are much more early game than a netherite Iingot.
