Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Wooden Pallisades/Walls

A wall version for all the wood types would add so much more flexibility for builders using wood in their builds and for detailing. This would apply to all wood types, and would essentially be a thicker wood fence, but will have the same properties as the stone walls, connecting to other blocks in the same way, and with the same shape. This could be called the palisade, for some differentiation between the walls.

    It should be done so that when the palisade blocks are stacked, the top block has a pointed end. Or have the pointed end be a separate block.  A “finished” palisades  block.

    Or Wooden Beams

    It could be with bark and stripped beams, this would take vanilla building to a new level.
    It could happen in terms of a Forest update, with new trees with thinner stems.
