Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The Quadrant

The quadrant would be a useful tool. It would be crafted with three sticks in a triangle, a gold ingot in the middle, and a glass block on the top.

   It can be held and when you hold down on the attack button with it in your hand, you would look through its scope and after five seconds it would measure the distance of blocks from the point you are looking at through the scope to your location. When you let go of the button, there would be numbers beside the quadrant that show how many blocks away you are from the spot you targeted with the scope. To reset it, all you have to do is scope out another direction. It would be a very useful tool for locating areas to travel to and you would not have to always use maps or compasses. It would go well with another aquatic or a nautical update.

    That is an good idea. But it should be an Creativ-tool, because I think it is inappropriate for Survival.
