This gamemode is only available on adventure maps, difficulty will increase the further you are in the map. It will start on easy for the first part of the story, normal will go into effect once you completed the tutorial (or the first objective). In the final moments of the adventure map, the difficulty will be hard. While playing this gamemode, your hunger bar will be replaced with a stamina meter on the right side of the screen, decreasing rapidly when you sprint or swing your sword. It will refill after you wait for 5 seconds of no sprinting or fighting. When you have a full meter, you can do a sweep attack that deals full damage to every enemy hit in a swing, while you only deal 75% damage to a single target. Food will fill the amount of health equivalent to hunger points (except for food items that cause hunger, as they cannot be eaten). You can only keep your equipment with you if you die, as only your items will be dropped (but your equipment will also lose an immediate -5 points of durability, gradually increasing to -50). Once you completed the map, you will be turned to survival mode, as you cannot change your difficulty once you begin playing. And you also can’t kill villagers, but punching them will still lower popularity.
