Chance mining

Hello Mojang, 

I have what I believe to be a brilliant idea for a new way to mine. Now hear me out, I think the current form of mining is simple and that's what makes it good, and I'm not planning on getting rid of that. My idea was that when you mine, there will be a 5 to possibly 10% chance for a short minigame to pop up. What will happen is whatever block or ore you were trying to mine will appear along with three chests, that block or ore will be plopped into one of the chests, mixed around, and you'll be given the chance to pick a chest to see if the prize is in that said chest.

At first glance, this seems unnecessary, but it gets better. If you choose the wrong chest, the minigame will close and you'll just resume your mining without any more minigames. If you choose the right chest with the ore or block inside, the chest will open up and will spew out tons of the prized possession! Take for example if you were mining a diamond ore and this minigame showed up, you picked the right chest, then you would get 5-9 diamonds in one go! Of course, this minigame is rare so it's not OP. Anyway, sorry for making this feedback idea being long, I just needed to explain where I was coming from. If you implement this idea, the normal way of mining won't be gone, just spruced up but rarely.

    Just a little something else, maybe the minigame gets faster and harder the rarer and higher-tier the block you're trying to mine is. For example, mining for common cobblestone probably wouldn't be very hard, but it would OP if you tried mining for ancient debris and ended up getting 5-9 blocks or even more easily. So just like an actual game of guess the cup, it would be a little less OP if the chests were mixed faster with higher-tier blocks and ores, just an idea.
