WHAT?
Mojang needs validity check of Microsoft Accounts merged with game accounts on other systems. Active/deleted/invalid Microsoft Accounts should be unlinked. Check should occur at login universally. Should override logins by any independent service provider (like MSN, PSN, Nintendo, etc.) on the login page.
WHY?
Invalid/deleted/expired Microsoft Accounts merged with a PS4 make online play with others impossible. The merge is irreversible, breaking the game permanently--even when removed and reloaded. No multiplayer play also means no multiplayer achievements, no co-op games, no coordinated builds, etc.
Irreversible bug with no workarounds & is known:
1) Game warns players a merge is permanent: "Be Careful!"
2) The merge is server archived, taking control from players.
3) Playstation denies control over the account, & Microsoft makes no comment. No one takes ownership of the problem = typical corporate bureaucracy triangulation BS.
HOW?
Create a registry tracking purchase sources so disconnected devices lose access to purchases, not play.
EG: purchased skin on my Win10 account? Use it on a linked PS4; but unlinked, no. No purchase transfers. Additionally, add a link/unlink button at login so merges can be managed. (Multiple accounts, use a checkbox system, registry check at game load process. Host the registry online. Check fail = removal of that element of loaded game. Color coded frames for listed purchases could show which system account owns each purchase.
