Nether update parent view

As a Christian parent of young children (one boy is autistic and takes everything literally) who play Minecraft on Amazon Fire Kids tablet, I am very unhappy that you have promoted and made free to access, an update that basically alludes to hell (the mythological concept of the netherworld, as im sure you know, is based on the devil and hell.) You need to bear in mind that hell and evil to many people are terrifyingly real and not just a joke, and young kids are vulnerable and easily influenced by whatever they see on screens and devices. Now all they talk about are all things "nether" and they think they are real. I use parental controls to filter everything so they have to come to me to check and I have to set up any new worlds or skins they want to buy once I have decided its age appropriate and compatible with our Christian faith. With this update being free of charge, they installed it to my alarm without checking with me even though in-app purchases were disabled. I really think you need to sort out this glitch particularly for Kindle Fire kids users. I now have the dilemma of trying to uninstall the nether update without losing the numerous other worlds they have created. I could do without the stress!!!

    Let me tell you, the "Nether" ("what is below" in Dutch) in Minecraft is not related at all with the hell of any religion, it's actually based on the real life inner layers of Planet Earth, which have immense quantities of molten rock and extreme high temperatures, with the addition of creatures like ghosts and a Pig people society, it's not the place "bad people go after death" for the catholics.

    Even if you uninstall 1.16 the nether will still exist
    Plus The Nether is a core part of minecraft's progression, It is impossible to get rid of the nether without getting ridding of new Minecraft updates permanently by the ways how is pigs and yellow fire creatures (blazes) anyway like Hell.

    You've probably abandoned this post, but I think you could still use this:

    Hades from Greek mythology aligns more with the Nether. Hell in the Biblical context isn't a place where you can walk around and be chill, it's a place where chill doesn't exist. The Nether allows you some chill time, so it's absolutely nothing like Hell in that respect. Plus, I like the Nether because it makes me think of how Christ went to Hell and back to save us.

    That's a short little explanation of why the Nether doesn't offend me. But, about that last line...

    If you really want to protect your kids, focus on that last line. Maybe teach them about that. Use this as an opportunity, maybe. Otherwise, good luck deleting the update. 👍🏼
