Wither shouldn't be able to blow up netherite armor and tools

It can take hours sometimes to just get a single netherite ingot. Then, when you finally get all of the netherite armor, you fight the wither, die, and he blows up all of it. Why? I mean, ancient debris is somewhat blast resistant. If netherite is the end tier armor, it shouldn't be able to be blown up by a wither blast.

    Withers or creepers for that matter. I just suffered such a loss when 4 creepers spawned in front of me and blew me away and all my stuff. Very hard not to just stop playing Minecraft forever after already spending an eternity mining the debris.

    I am good with the idea of Picaspy. The logic at the moment does not make sense, they say netherite and ancient debris can't be blown up, or can't be burnt. Well, when creepers, wither or even tnt just blows up, or sends explosive that then blows up all the items in the blowing radius just blows up. It doesn't make sense at the time, but maybe you guys, Mojang, can change that. Thanks for understanding us.

    I seriously lost a full set of god armor to a wither death and this stuff is fireproof and is found as a high blast resistance block

    This just happened to me. I was flying away from the fight with elytra. I had a full set of enchanted netherite armor and he got me mid air. Hundreds of hours of progress gone in an instant.
