Hostile Mob Toggle Switch

Sometimes I want to play survival mode in normal, just without the hostile mobs. I still want to lose hunger and have slower health regeneration without mobs and without having to turn on cheats. If you added a hostile mob spawning toggle button, that would be possible

    This is why I came here too!! I have been saying this since I started playing Minecraft several years ago. My poor kid is probably sick of hearing it. 😁  When I searched for this subject I found a post with a suggestion somewhat like this but more complex and it was way back in March of 2019. I was thrilled to see one posted today!

    There’s a reason it’s in cheats. That would be cheating, so you aren’t allowed to earn achievements for playing the game without it’s difficulties. If you ask me even peaceful mode should require cheats. (I’m assuming you play on bedrock because you said “cheats” which don’t exist on java)

    Unless if it's a separate gamemode that can't be changed, it would be too overpowered. It would also take away the challenge of creating a mob switch if this was just added as an option that can be toggled.
