Katana buff to attack speed

Katanas feel way too slow right now, the only time I ever use them is with the Thief/Spider armor for that 25% attack speed buff. Katanas are known for being fast attacking weapons in other games, and even in real life. What makes the other slow weapons like hammers viable is the fact that they are a one-combo, but the Katana is a three-hit-combo and it's super slow, making enchantments like Swirling and Shockwave almost useless since you attack so slow, to the point where you're almost dead if you get swarmed by mobs.
