Break the line of armor classing with new armor.

We all love the new netherite ore and what it does to upgrade our armor and tools, but it’s all straight forward. Get the next best thing down the line, leather < chain mail < gold and so on. But what if we switched up the formula and added a branch in the path.

With the smithing table you can modify diamond armor with netherite, what if you could modify diamond armor with a different type of ingot or ore. I introduce my idea as “Enderite”, an ore that you can find in the end islands and can upgrade your diamond armor differently than netherite. Differently so you really have to choose wisely or can be more adaptive to a different play style than combat, Like having more durability (although netherite already gives a lot, this is an example), double jump, or an effect given by potions that effects the player while wearing the armor without using a potion or potions last longer, etc.

Not only will this bring more diversity it will bring more stuff to the end if you wanted to stick this idea there, this will also bring more use to the smithing table as it has one use right now. You don’t have to stick with it being Enderite, this is mostly about adding a new ore that will divide the straight forward ness of armor classes and adding on to the idea and features of netherite. And if there will be a “Cave update” this would go greatly with that idea.

This is close to some ideas of there being ore in the end but that’s not what the main idea is about for this.
