Not Eating Food In Creative

In Java Minecraft you can eat food in creative, this is quite annoying because whenever I try to plant mass amounts of crops I keep on eating. I don't see a reason why this should a thing. Or maybe connect a invisible hunger bar in creative to your hunger bar in survival.
