Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Heated Touch (enchantment)

The heated touch enchantment would be an option on your tools between silk touch (because you couldn’t have both) Heated touch when on a tool such as a pickaxe would make it so when you mine a block it gives you the smelted version of it. When you mine iron ore you get iron ingots, stone to smooth stone, logs to charcoal, etc. It could be an enchantment as rare as mending but you should be able to pair it with fortune.
