Villager miners

Minecraft caves are bland so when you find a mineshaft there can be miners in it. The player could trade ores or tools for other ores or tools, or you could use bartering like the piglins. There could also be certain types of miners for certain ores.

    I've often thought of this concept in Mines or maybe caves  -   

    The character is an "Angry Miner" who can attack you with a pickaxe(even able to break through a block to get to you)  

    Character could look like an old West prospector with a beard, brimmed hat and torn clothing.....If you give him something like bread or cooked meat he will become friendly and guide you to the nearest chest...
