Ascendium

Ascendium would be a rare material that would serve a similar purpose for ascendance to what netherite does for the nether. The ore would be as rare as ancient debris, and the upgrade materials it could be crafted into would require four of it and four of another rare material, just like netherite. Each material it could be crafted into would have a unique look when used to upgrade diamond equipment, allowing customization of looks that contrast with netherite and its materials. Each would also have unique properties, balanced so that they won't replace netherite. I won't say too much in this post about what ascendium could be crafted into, since that seems like it needs another post, but it would be similar materials to netherite, potentially including gold and ghost crystal. This material would add more customization to armor upgrades, specifically by making a bright contrast to netherite.
