Standing Pets

Pets should stand up if you are holding their favorite food (Not horses, cows, sheep, etc) When you get within a one-block radius within them, there is a chance that they can take the food (higher chances for foxes and ocelots) NOTE: Any mobs that trust you, such as feeding ocelots fish, or feeding foxes sweet berries will count towards the standing up and taking food part.
