Reverse Cactus Block

This block would be similar to a Cactus block in that it would have blocks that can be in contact with the bottom and top of the block, but when something is placed or gets pushed next to this block instead of this block popping off like a cactus block does, the other block adjacent to one of this block's four sides is the one gets popped off.

I see a lot of really big complicated redstone contraptions and TNT duping because people want a more efficient way to gather/harvest blocks like concrete, wood, and stone from generators, etc. I don't believe it would be overpowered as it can only break blocks directly adjacent to it, If you wanted to limit it further it could be immovable by pistons or slime/honey blocks. I do think it would do better as an end game block perhaps a new weird fruit or plant found in the End Dimension?
