Burning Lodestones in Lava

Since Netherite doesn't burn in lava, and Lodestones are crafted with a Netherite Ingot; when you throw Lodestones in lava, it shouldn't burn at all.

Okey, but what for? You’re going to drop lodestone at lava?

    first commenter; you're definitely right

second commenter; your logic makes no sense, wouldn't your comment also apply to netherite? "Okey, but what for? You’re going to drop netherite at lava?" so that you don't lose the lodestone dying in lava, obviously
