Glowworm cave

The caves are regions of great importance in the game, but with little diversity of content and do not have great attractions for your exploration. The addition of a glowworm cave based on the Waitomo cave in New Zealand would be a new way to color and illuminate the cave, giving it a beauty that is seen nowhere else in the world.

The glowworns are worms that have the shape of a pearl necklace and hang on the walls and ceiling of the caves. A tip of each one remains “on”, which gives the effect of a starry sky. They are luminescent blue and embellish the caves. They would light up the entire region they were in, making it more beautiful and free from mobs, making it a safe area for players. They could drop luminescent blue dye, which could be used like any dye, but it would glow in the dark.

    These worms could be harvested with shears for silk. With silk, you could use a loom to make capes, making them customizable and widely available for all players.

    I think that glow worms should be rare but not local to one type of cave, you could find patches of them here or there in a few varieties of cave and they could be harvested for some type of rare resource, possibly something that makes signs glow and/or be harvested for string.

    You can change the firefly from an entity to a particle effect. Like a bat, it has an atmosphere and appreciation. Swamps and mangroves without fireflies have no feeling
