Cats should play with dropped items

Like dolphins, I think cats should play with certain dropped items, like string, gold or iron nuggets, feathers, etc. It would make cats even cuter in the game.

    I love this idea more people should vote I would love the idea but I am more of a dog fan they should add balls then you could throw the ball for the dog

    For this to be added, dolphins must also play with dropped items on bedrock as they currently dont do that there

    Slightly different idea, but if roaming, tamed cats could randomly pick up a dropped item and bring it to the player, similarly to how cats often bring their owners what they consider food. Dolphins and allays exhibit item path-finding already, and foxes are peaceful mobs that can also pick up one item at a time, so it hopefully wouldn't be too difficult to work in?
