Igneous caves would be tunnels that generate underground in winding paths. Igneous rock would form when a magma block touches ice. The Igneous rock texture would look either like black cobblestone or be black with faint lines squiggling across it. The caves would mostly be level and round with rough walls of blue ice and Igneous rock. They wouldn't have any side caves but go in a winding line until they end.
But what would be the use of these caves? Well, first it would be a major spawning point for cave spiders. Also, Igneous rock could be blast resistant, meaning creepers and TNT would have no effect on the block. You could also craft it into an Igneous hoe. ( you wouldn't be able to craft any other tools or armor with it, similar to how you can only make a turtle shell helmet with scutes, and nothing else). This hoe can be used to make rich soil which has a darker texture and it will make your crops grow very quickly and the soil won't ever turn into dirt!!!
There also would be Spider Chambers in the Igneous tunnels, small rooms made of stone blocks, Igneous rock, and chiseled stone, with a cave spider spawner hanging from the roof. There would also be a chest at the back of the room with neat items ( string, leather helmets, gold ingots,). The igneous tunnels would only generate in cold biomes (snowy taiga, snow plains) but most often generate under the Ice spikes biome. The caves never generate with openings except for sometimes opening up at coasts. Hope you like:)
