While recently watching some tutorials on making flying machines, I noticed that a lot of people agreed that the “immovable” blocks in minecraft often don’t fit the palette of a build very well. To fix this, I suggest the addition of a new item, obsidian weights. They could be “attached” to any solid block, and would prevent that block from being moved by pistons, slime blocks, and other forms of pushing/pulling. They would behave similarly to barriers in terms of appearance, as they would be invisible to the player unless they are holding the item in their hands. They would be crafted with 1 obsidian under the new chain block, which would make 4 weights.
